Product Description
The only people with symmetric ears (that we’re aware of) are certain robots, and they’re not really people and they probably don’t listen to music. Regular people like us (we’re assuming you’re a lot like us, ear-wise) have asymmetric ears, so an asymmetric bud like Asym (pronounced Ay-Sim) fits like nobody’s business (an idiom, meaning great). Its flush fit and wrapped cable position (the cable runs over the top of your ear, man) means you can run on the treadmill… More >>
Skullcandy ASYM In Ear Bud S2ASCZ-003

I purchased these hoping they would fit into my little ears and even the smallest option is still way too large (and I’m not an abnormally small person). Because of the hassle of returns, I even tried shoving them in my ears and seeing if I could just get used to them. Unfortunately that was extremely uncomfortable, they kept falling out no matter what I tried, and the sound they produce is fair at best. I finally resorted to returning them and have since done some research and got the perfect pair for about half the price.

The asym earbuds are very portable and come with a nice carrying case. They stay in your ear even when you are sitting down. Great sound quality and they even work when you are wearing a beanie. I just love skull candy products. These are the earbuds to buy.

These earbuds sound OK and are comfortable if you are sitting still, but they are not a great solution for music during workouts. I generally use them while lifting weights or using cardio machines. The prodcut picture made me believe that these earbuds had a firm loop built into the wire for holding them in place. But actually, they’re only held in place by the rubber ear-canal gaskets. The problem I encountered is that the actual buds are fairly heavy and move around during a workout. In addition, perceived loudness (particularly in the bass range) is dramatically affected by your head position. So if you tilt your head downward (hard not to do at some point in a workout), you suddenly lose sound volume and bass. I’ve experimented with all three sets of included rubber gaskets and none provide a fit that eliminates the problem. My recommendation is to get sports earbuds that have the molded, behind-the-ear clips. Or if you really want ear buds, look for ones that are smaller and lighter than these.

Amazing sound quality but at first they were confusing to put on. After i got them on they kept falling out no matter what ear tip size i used. The out plastic just didn’t fit in my outer ear. I just am not satisfied with the product.

I purchased these because i have a horrible time with earbuds. They are only a little more comfortable than the other dozen or so that I have tried.
Sound quality and everything else is AMAZING. They just irritate my ears.
